  • September  19– Vote for Homecoming King and Queen
    • All WHS students will vote for Homecoming King and Queen in Advisory on September 19.
  • Iron Man Volleyball 
    • Iron man volleyball is scheduled at 6:00 on Tuesday, September 20.
  • September 19-23 – Homecoming Week Dress Up Days
    • Monday: Jersey Day…Wear the jersey or apparel related to your favorite team
    • Tuesday: Beach Day
    • Wednesday: USA Day
    • Thursday: Greek Day…Wear clothing related to what college fraternity and sorority members wear
    • Friday: Waukee Spirit Day!
  • September 22 – Homecoming Parade
    • Parade route will be that same as all Waukee parades (Staging at Vince Meyer parking lot and ending at Waukee Stadium).
    • Homecoming parade will begin at 6:00 p.m.
    • All parade participants must be at the Vince Meyer Learning Center by 5:30 p.m.
  • September 22 – Coronation
  • September 22 – Powderpuff Football Game
    • Powderpuff football games follow coronation.
  • September 23 – Football Game
  • September 24 – Homecoming Dance
    • The Homecoming dance is Saturday, September 24, from 8-11 p.m. in the west gym at the Waukee High School.
    • Admission is $10 per student.
    • Entrance will only be at the main doors on the east side of the school.
    • All attendees must show an ID at the door.
    • Dress is semi-formal.
    • Only Waukee High Students students in grades 10-12 may attend or bring guests. No one in grade 9 or lower will be admitted and no one older than 20 will be admitted. Students wishing to bring a guest who is not a student at Waukee High School must complete the form in the student services office.
