Waukee Community School District Releases Audit

Van Maanen, Sietstra, Meyer & Nikkel, PC, Certified Public Accountants released an audit report, December 13, on the Waukee Community School District in Waukee, Iowa.

The District’s revenues totaled $124,415,736 for the year ended June 30, 2016, a 11.14% increase from the prior year. Revenues included $52,002,933 in local tax; charges for service of $9,672,547; operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $15,212,190; unrestricted interest of  $146,859; and other general revenues of $46,521,807.

Expenses for District operations totaled $111,065,953, a 10.59% increase from the prior year. Expenses included $59,495,975 for instruction, $30,441,509 for support services, $7148,158 for non-instructional services and $13,980,311 for other expenditures.
