Secretary of State Matt Schultz Visits with 3rd Graders
Secretary of State Matt Schultz visited Maple Grove Elementary School last week. On Thursday, March 8, Schultz spoke to Alissa Sheldon’s third grade class about his role in the state government and his path to being the youngest Secretary of State in the nation. During the hour long visit, Schultz answered many thoughtful questions about his pro jobs platform, his fight against voter fraud, and his working relationship with Governor Terry Branstad, who also visited the Maple Grove third grade earlier in the school year. Schultz’s son, Levi, is a 3rd grade student in Alissa Sheldon’s class.
