Community Service Project
During the next two weeks students and faculty at Prairieview School will be joining the entire Waukee Community School District family in support of two important philanthropies. They are the 5th Annual Winter Warmth Drive and the Waukee Community Food Pantry. Everyone is asked to bring in a minimum of three items including: one food/personal item, $1 in cash and one piece of new or gently-used clothing to donate to these causes. Of course, we will gladly accept any additional contributions.
Please find below a list of items that are appreciated. Thanks for your donations!
New or Gently-Used Winter Clothing:
coats, jackets, hats, gloves, blankets, scarves, snow pants, and snow boots
This is a great time to clean a closet and get rid of items that are in good condition but no longer fit!
Non-Perishable Foods (most requested):
fruit juice, canned chicken, jell-o/pudding, pizza crust and sauce, saltine crackers, canned mixed fruit, rice/potatoes, boxed “helper” meals.
shampoo, deodorant, body soap, toilet paper, diapers (size 4 and up), dish soap.
