Students Take World Tour in Math and Social Studies

This week in Mrs. Amanda Christensen’s classroom students have been on a World Tour in math and social studies. They started by learning about different regions in the world. Now groups of students are working to learn about physical and cultural characteristics of each continent as they travel the world. During their travels they will learn about a countries population, area, languages spoken, average temperatures and interesting facts. Each group will also need to decide what they would need to pack as they travel there. The class is starting the tour in Washington D.C. and traveling first to Egypt. The next place that the students will travel to, will be decided by their team.  Who knows where we will go?

Michael Harger and Madison Hoover explore Cairo, Egypt for their Around the Word project.
