Eason Students Create Mural

The first week of school was productive in Melinda Turnbull’s Art classes.  The students worked on a mural depicting various imaginative, but not necessarily possible, ways they could get to school.  Separate classes worked on a section, and then the sections were hung together to form a wall-sized mural.  The students thought of some very interesting ways they might come to school in the pretend world : floating in via parachute, riding a dinosaur, driving a flying pizza, and other fun means of transportation.

Eason Elementary second graders show parts of the mural they created in art class. From left to right are Audrey Dyvig, Mackenzie Park, Carson Ekis and Gabe Cowan.

Second graders Alessia Barutta, Hadley Holmes, Brayden Praska and Emily Nichols display part of the Transportation mural they helped create in Melinda Turnbull’s art class.
