Shuler Third Graders Investigate Weather

Third graders at Shuler Elementary just finished learning about weather!  During this unit, our students learned about high and low temperatures, cloud cover, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation and the water cycle.  They also learned how meteorologists use weather tools to help them predict and report the weather.  Students learned about thermometers, anemometers, barometers, weather vanes and rain gauges.

Shuler Elementary third grade students assemble anemometers and weather vanes to use during lessons about weather.
