Warrior Power Strength Training
Warrior Power strength training sessions start Monday, June 2. Sessions are free to all Waukee High School athletes. Because summer schedules can be busy, there is no sign up required. Students just need to show up to the session that best fits their routine.
Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- 5:45-7:00 a.m. – incoming 10-12 graders
- 6:30-7:45 a.m. – incoming 10-12 graders
- 7:15 -8:30 a.m.- incoming10-12 graders
- 8:00 – 9:15 a.m.- incoming10-12 graders
- 8:45 – 10:00 a.m.- incoming 9th grade only
- 9:30-10:45 a.m.- incoming9-12 Female Athletes
All sessions begin in the multi-purpose room of the Wellness Center. Each session welcomes all athletes regardless of gender or ability level, however, 5:45 will have a heavy Cheer/Dance population, 8:00 will have a heavy Baseball population and 9:30 is set up to focus on other female athletes.
Incoming 7/8th graders:
Get signed up for Warrior Power Summer Lifting Class through Community Education. This class is for females and males interested in learning the basic fundamentals involved in strength and fitness. Sign up information can be found in the WaukeeBackpack and on the Community Education website.
