Dot Day at Eason!

Eason students celebrated National Dot Day on September 15.  This day was inspired by the book “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds.  “The Dot” is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her mark”.  Eason students read this book today, and ‘made their mark’ on the playground during recess with colored chalk.  Great lessons about imagination, independence and creativity were shared.

Ian Samples, Lauren Nidey, Spencer Womack and Zach Bryan make their mark by adding dots to the playground.

Ella Makohoniuk and Addison Campos work on their dots for Dot Day.

Taffy Sindlinger, Taylor Smith and Lexi Alliss use dots to make many pictures on the playground.
