Chandelier Fashion Show
On March 7, Waukee High School’s Fashion Club will host its second annual fashion show at the Prairieview Theatre Arts Center. Tickets are $7 at the doors, which will open at 6:30 p.m. The show, Chandelier, will begin at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the show will benefit LifeServe Blood Center.
Chandelier will feature designs and creations from the members of Waukee Fashion Club. Each member was given the task of creating a collection of 5-10 pieces of clothing to include in the show.
“We are really excited for this year’s show and we hope it will be an even bigger success than last year’s,” co-producer Mady Adams said.
This year’s theme was inspired by the tone of the song “Chandelier” by Sia.
“We wanted to create something elegant yet larger than life. We drew from dramatic tones, sophisticated colors and the damask print, which led to this year’s theme,” co-producer Sydney Papadopoulos-Franklin said.
After months of planning, and with the help of many local business sponsors, including TrueStyle and Plato’s Closet, Chandelier is an event that you cannot miss!
