First Boundary Public Forum is April 14
The public is invited to attend the first Comprehensive Boundary Process Public Forum on Tuesday, April 14, at 6:00 p.m. in the Prairieview Library, 655 SE University.
This is the first step in the Comprehensive Boundary Process that will redefine Waukee Community School District’s attendance boundaries and allow for a balanced feeder system.
The agenda for the evening includes enrollment projections, facility needs, financial information, boundary criteria and an opportunity for public input.
Following the Public Forum a series of Boundary Committee meetings will be held. Boundary Committee members will review the current attendance boundaries and bring a recommendation to the school board for adjustments by December 2015. Minutes for all meetings will be posted on the district website. Additional information can be found on the Waukee Community Schools website here.
