  • September  25– Vote for Homecoming King and Queen
    • All WHS students will vote for Homecoming King and Queen in Advisory.
  • September 25-30 – Homecoming Week Dress Up Days
    • Monday: Dress to Unimpress
    • Tuesday: Athletes or Mathletes
    • Wednesday: Holiday Day
    • Thursday: Go together/Twin Day
    • Friday: Spirit Day
  • September 26 – Ironman Sand Volleyball
    • Ironman Sand Volleyball will be held at Centennial Park on September 26 at 5:30 p.m.
  • September 27 – Bag Toss Tournament
    • The Bag Toss Tournament will be held at Centennial Park on September 27 at 4:30 p.m.
  • September 28 – Homecoming Parade
    • Parade route will be that same as all Waukee parades (Staging at Vince Meyer parking lot and ending at Waukee Stadium).
    • Homecoming parade will begin at 6:00 p.m.
    • All parade participants must be at the Vince Meyer Learning Center by 5:30 p.m.
  • September 28 – Coronation
    • Homecoming king and queen will be crowned at Waukee Stadium on September 28 following the parade.
  • September 28 – Powderpuff Football Game
    • Powderpuff football games follow coronation.
  • September 29 – Football Game
  • September 30 – Homecoming Dance
    • The Homecoming dance is Saturday, September 30, from 7-10 p.m. in the west gym at the high school.
    • Admission is $10 per student.
    • Entrance will only be at the main doors on the east side of the school.
    • Only WHS students in grades 10-12 may attend or bring guests.
    • No one in grade 9 or lower will be admitted and no one older than 20 will be admitted as per past practice.
    • All attendees must show an ID at the door.
    • Students wishing to bring a guest who is not a student a Waukee High School must fill out the sign-up form that is in the student services office.
    • Dress is semi-formal.
