Certified Public Accountants Released Audit Report

Van Maanen, Sietstra, Meyer & Nikkel, PC, Certified Public Accountants today released an audit report on the Waukee Community School District in Waukee, Iowa.

The District’s revenues totaled $139,550,576 for the year ended June 30, 2017, a 12.6% increase from the prior year. Revenues included $59,674,862 in local taxes; charges for service of $9,813,732; operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $16,961,793; unrestricted interest of $520,338; and other general revenues of $52,579,851.

Expenses for District operations totaled $123,263,300, a 10.98% increase from the prior year. Expenses included $65,743,252 for instruction, $33,709,155 for support services, $7,704,723 for non-instructional services and $16,106,165 for other expenditures.
