Waukee Stadium Guidelines
To ensure safety and sportsmanship within our competition venues, the following guidelines have been created. We ask all Warrior fans and supporters of all ages, to abide by these guidelines. Go Warriors!
Waukee Community School District students are assigned to sit in assigned areas of the home side (west side) of Waukee Stadium:
Elementary students will not be sitting with middle/high school students, temporary bleachers will be in place for the first game. Newly constructed 10-row bleachers will hopefully be in place for the remaining games this season and years to come. Students can access this section using the walkway underneath the west (home) bleachers.
Lost and Found
Brookview’s Lost and Found can be found outside the music room. Brookview quickly accumulates a large quantity of jackets, coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves and lunch boxes. Please check the Lost and Found area often. Twice a year – At Christmas Break and Spring Break, anything not claimed is donated to a charitable organization.
Waukee Community School District (WCSD) uses SchoolMessenger for emergency notifications. Notifications include inclement weather, late starts or other emergency situations that may arise during or after school hours. SchoolMessenger works with PowerSchool, so there is no list for parents to sign up for, however, in order for parents to receive a text message, parents must complete the “opt-in” process.
Subscribe by texting: “Y”, “Yes,” or “Subscribe” to 67587. The cell phone numbers used must be in PowerSchool to receive a notification. Unsubscribe at any time by texting the key words: “Quit”, “Remove” or “Unsubscribe” to 67587.

The PTO is excited to announce that 2018 Brookview/Waukee Spiritwear is now for sale! All orders must be placed online and will need to be placed by midnight on Wednesday, September 12th. They will be delivered to students on Thursday, September 27th, just in time for Waukee’s Homecoming! If you will be buying an item for a gift, please email Becky Twedt at firstname.lastname@example.org with your student’s name/teacher and we will pull those orders out before we deliver them to the students. The items that are designated as ‘gifts’ will be in the office for pick up during the hours of 8:30-4p Monday through Friday.
Please know that while the PTO does make a small profit from the sale of Spiritwear, this is not considered a fundraiser. The sale of Brookview/Waukee Spiritwear is provided as a service to our families to let them show their Waukee and Brookview pride! Please see the web address below and happy ordering.
PTO Classroom Directories
This year the PTO has created a form to facilitate individual classroom directories.
Classroom Coordinators will use this information for classroom parties (Fall, Harvest, Valentine) as well as Staff Appreciation Events throughout the year.
Teachers do not share contact information for students, so this is the best way to make sure you and your student will be able to contact other kids and parents in your class.
Once collected, this information will be shared to ONLY the parents in your child’s classroom who chose to participate in this Classroom Directory.
The PTO may use the information to occasionally send out information of interest to the entire student body but email addresses will be kept private and not shared.
Please submit one form per child, not per family, here:
