Revenue Purpose Statement and School Board Election Results

The unofficial election results are in and we are pleased to let you know that the Revenue Purpose Statement was passed by voters with 89%. This will allow our district to have optimal flexibility as we continue to plan for infrastructure needs in the Waukee Community School District (CSD).

The Revenue Purpose Statement will remain in effect until replaced or amended by the Waukee CSD. We also look forward to sharing a Master Facilities Plan in 2020 that will highlight the future of Waukee CSD and approved funding that will support this plan.

Also, three new Waukee Board of Education seats were elected by voters. New Board members, Wendy Marsh, Dan Gehlbach, and Alex Smith will fulfill a four-year term serving the Waukee CSD. Congratulations to all the candidates for your interest in serving our staff, students, and families in Waukee. The newly elected Board will be seated on November 25, 2019.  We would like to thank our current Board members, Susan Bunz, Ethan Huisman, and Jerry Ripperger for their dedication and service to Waukee Schools.
