Instruction

“What will we do if they don’t learn or they already know it?”

In classrooms across the district you will see evidence of differentiation of instruction. All students will be delivered the core experience, and then teachers are making an effort, in flexible ways based on students learning needs, to provide skill-building activities for some of the students, typical experiences for others, and extensions for yet other students. This is a sophisticated approach to meeting the learning needs of students, but one that we have embraced in recent years in the district.
