Waukee Community School District welcomes and encourages the use of volunteers in our schools and buildings. As a volunteer, you would help Waukee Community School District build strong partnerships with our parents, community members, businesses and patrons. Utilization of volunteer services includes involving parents, guardians, relatives, businesses/organizations, and the community in the education program to further enrich our students and create a progressive and inclusive school program. You would be viewed as a role model to our students.
To volunteer at Waukee Community School District’s school buildings, you would still reach out to the building/school you are interested in. To make every reasonable effort to provide a safe learning environment for our students, all prospective volunteers must complete this online volunteer form every year. It will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. This form must be completed before you can volunteer in any of Waukee CSD’s buildings. Volunteers will work in a non-paid function serving under the discretion and supervision of Waukee Community School District professional staff.
Please note if you are applying to be an Activities/Athletic volunteer, you must complete and submit an employment application for the vacancy at.
Once you complete this form you will allowed to volunteer at any of Waukee Community School District Buildings for the 2017-18 school year, pending a background check through our RAPTOR system so remember to bring your driver’s license to the school. If you have any questions, contact Roxy Livermore at 515-987-5161 x2030 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you!
