Every year, the Waukee Knights of Columbus host a spelling bee that is open to any 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th grader. This event is completely free and kids have the chance to move on to the regional and state competitions. The spelling bee will be held at St. Boniface Church in Waukee on Jan. 21 at 12:30 PM.
