- Beyond the Bell and YMCA before-school child care will open two hours late (8:30 a.m.).
- AM Preschool will be canceled.
- All before-school, extracurricular activities will be canceled.

I am Frank Lee III, a husband to JaCarie and father of (4) JaLeah, Frank IV, Carter, and Jordyn. My roots stem from New Orleans, Louisiana where my family still resides. I am an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and numerous other community-based organizations. I worked as a science teacher, women’s soccer coach, and high school assistant principal in Des Moines Public Schools. I attended Langston Univ., graduated from Lincoln Univ. of Pennsylvania, from the Univ. of Phoenix, and from Bethel Univ. in K-12 Administration.
I have a passion for education, equity, and advocacy. I believe that every person can succeed with the appropriate level of support. It is my life’s purpose to assist all stakeholders (students/staff/families/community) to achieve their goals through my leadership. I am excited to be joining the Waukee CSD and honored to have the opportunity to lead my new extended family. I look forward to serving you.
