Waukee CSD Recognized with Financial Award

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) awarded Waukee Community School District (CSD) with the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE). The award recognizes districts that meet high standards for financial reporting and accountability. The award recognizes the work on our Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2022.

“Our participation in the COE program for 18 years is a testament to our District’s commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting,” Chief Financial Officer, Sarah Enfield says.

To receive the award, applicants submit their ACFR for review by a trained team that provides feedback to improve future documents. If the ACFR meets certain program requirements, the document may receive a Certificate of Excellence (COE). A District’s participation in the COE program can facilitate bond rating and continuing bond disclosure processes.
