In early Februrary, Shuler Elementary students enthusiastically showcased art and science displays they had created throughout the hallways of the school.
On February 2, 2016, school was cancelled due to inclement weather. School days missed due to inclement weather are added to the end of the regular school year. The last day of school for Waukee Community School District is now May 27.
Sophomore Kyle Biscoglia took home the 3A State Tournament Championship title after defeating Nick Oldham of Valley 9-1. Biscoglia is Waukee’s first State wrestling champion at 106 lbs.
