New face at district office
Waukee Community School District is excited to welcome the newest face of the district, administrative assistant, Arnold Woods III, to the district office. Arnold will fill a position left vacant after Jamilee Lightfoot took a position as student services administrative assistant.
Arnold is originally from the Des Moines area and an Iowa State graduate. Arnold joins us from WHO-TV where he was a studio technician in the production department.
“I wanted to work in education and help students,” Arnold said. “ The fast growing nature of Waukee Community School district excited me and was something I wanted to be apart of. ”
Arnold will be the first face visitors see when they arrive at the district office. This positions welcomes new families to district and helps them complete the necessary paper work to make the transition as smooth as possible. Arnold will also be responsible for, greeting visitors at district office and assisting the superintendent and communications coordinator.
