Sharpen the Saw – Summer Activities
Our students have learned that balance feels best and it is important for us to take care of our bodies by eating right, exercising and getting sleep. It is also important that we spend time with family and friends and learn in lots of ways and lots of places, not just at school. It is also meaningful to find ways to help others. These are all important ways that we can “Sharpen our Saw.” Summer is an excellent opportunity for us to do just that as we exercise our mind, body, heart and soul.
We would like to encourage students to return to school next fall with a photo of themselves “Sharpening the Saw” over the summer months. We plan to make a school-wide display showcasing all the fun ways in which our students exercised their mind, body, heart and/or soul.
