Blood Drive to be Held at Waukee High School
Often times people want to give back, but do not have enough time in the day to do so. Within an hour, volunteer blood donors can save a life.
The community is invited to partake in a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Thursday, Sept. 21 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Waukee High School.
Blood is a perishable product that can only be donated by generous individuals. By donating blood people can make a difference in the lives of others.
Completion of a RapidPass will be required to donate blood. Volunteers can do this at the blood drive or online at redcrossblood.org/rapidpass. Donors also will be required to bring a blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification at check-in.
