Great Apple Crunch with the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture

Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig visited Shuler Elementary to participate in the Great Apple Crunch, which got underway across Iowa and six other states for today’s lunch hour. The event celebrates healthy kids, locally grown apples, and strong community partnerships with local farmers.

During his visit, the Secretary helped serve lunch, crunched apples with the students, and visited with fifth-grade students to learn about their experience with Shuler’s garden.
