When winter weather becomes dangerous, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Our inclement weather procedures for programming at Beyond the Bell and YMCA help keep everyone safe.
Weather Late Start
Care is only open for children registered for A.M. care. Opening time will be delayed two hours as well. We will open at 8:30 a.m. If school is canceled after students have arrived, parents will be asked to pick up their child(ren) within one hour of the cancellation announcement.
Weather Early Dismissal
The program will begin at the time of dismissal. Parents are required to pick up their child(ren) within one hour of dismissal time to ensure the safety of everyone traveling home.
Weather Cancellation
If school is canceled due to snow or ice, the program will also be closed. If school is canceled due to extremely low temperatures, the program will be open at its regular time, 6:30 a.m.
