Theatre Arts I
Offered to grades: 10, 11, 12

Theatre Arts I is an introductory course in the fundamentals of theatre. The course provides students with an overview of many different aspects of theatre. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Theatre Arts I holds students to a high standard of respect and participation. 

Theatre Arts II
Offered to grades: 10, 11, 12
Length: 1 Term
Category: Elective
Prerequisite: Theatre Arts I

Theatre Arts II is a course that builds upon the theatrical skills learned in Theatre Arts I. The course provides students an opportunity to explore a variety of acting styles, refining their individual performance skills. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Theatre Arts II holds students to a high standard of respect and participation.

Theatre Arts III
Offered to grades: 11, 12
Length: 1 Term

Prerequisite: Theatre Arts I & II

Theatre Arts III is a course that builds upon the theatrical skills learned in Theatre Arts II. The course provides students an opportunity to explore and hone their own unique directing style. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Theatre Arts III holds students to a high standard of respect and participation.

Theatre Arts IV
Offered to grades: 11, 12
Length: 1 Term

Prerequisite: Theatre Arts I, II & III

Theatre Arts IV is a course that builds upon the theatrical skills learned in Theatre Arts III. The course provides students an opportunity to learn about the global impact of theatre and explore texts that persist from a variety of time periods and cultures. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Theatre Arts IV holds students to a high standard of respect and participation.

Technical Theatre I
Offered to grades: 10, 11, 12
Length: 2 TERMS

Technical Theatre is an introductory course in the fundamentals of theatre technology. The course provides students with an overview of the backstage elements of the theatrical process. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Technical Theatre holds students to a high standard of respect and participation.

Technical Theatre II 
Offered to grades: 10, 11, 12
Length: 2 TERMS

Prerequisite: Technical Theatre I

Technical Theatre II is a course that builds upon the theatrical skills learned in Technical Theatre I. The course provides students the opportunity to hone in on one aspect of the theatrical process. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Technical Theatre III 
Offered to grades: 11, 12
Length: 2 TERMS

Prerequisite: Technical Theatre I & II

Technical Theatre III is a course that builds upon the theatrical skills learned in Technical Theatre II. The course provides students the opportunity to design and produce one element of the theatrical process for a realized production. Students are involved in creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to express themselves and their creativity. Technical Theatre III holds students to a high standard of respect and participation.
